Fixing the Sunfire MK2 true subwoofer You might try a Sunfire subwoofer. You are evidently overdriving the EV SP15 sub. The Sunfire will not rattle, period, and can handle far more power. And probably produce more base, even the 10″ size. My favorite is the Sunfire 12″ True Subwoofer. I also like the Velodyne 18″ subwoofer, which I owned for several years.
